“I’m not saying anything.”
“What brings you to earth?”
“I am merely checking on Midgard, to see that it is surviving without me.”
Oh, how the time had passed slowly. Ever so slowly. He had taken a break from the castle and had ventured off into a near village, deciding to live at an ally’s house for a time. His feelings had not changed, they would never change, he was sure.
When he marched up the steps towards the entrance to the great hall, a panic struck him and he had to pause. Sitting down on one of the many golden steps, he put his head in his hands and tried to inhale and exhale, as if he were in a battle. But nothing could work. Nothing would change the way he felt for her.
Thor bounded down the golden steps from the castle, halting when she saw that familiar figure sitting there. Balder? A pain lurched in her chest. “So, the disappearing man shows his face,” Thor said, a hint of anger in her tone, as she approached him. Sitting down beside him, she glanced down at her feet, not daring to look at him.
“I am most glad to hear that everything is under control.” She said with a slight nod and grin. The blonde felt her daughter’s hand touch her shoulder, it was always a reassuring feeling and it definitely made her feel warm. Thor just had that affect. “You have and you have not seen him? Alright. I understand. Thank you for looking though, daughter. I appreciate this.” Taking a small pause, she looked over to Thor. She figured she’d lighten the mood with her good, old fashioned motherly nagging, “And how is your love life?” She asked with a grin.
Thor listened to her mother and when she heard her last question, a laugh escaped her lips. “My love life? Oh, mother, you know me. I am wed to the realm of Asgard. I have no love life. I fear I shalln’t for some time.” Thor blushed slightly at the prospect of having her very own husband, and perhaps a family one day. But the idea of it felt strange, as if were unlike to happen.
Logan shook his head. “Nah, it’s alright ki- Thor.” Calling Thor kid wouldn’t feel right, no matter how much younger she looked. She was a Norse God, which made her older than anyone he’d met yet. “Not necessary, just respectful.”
She smiled at the man, bewildered by the way he spoke at times. “Respectful, I see…” Thor glanced away before realising she had forgotten her manners. “Oh! I forgot to ask. How do you fare, friend?”

Galicia had been informed of a gift, and as she didn’t receive many, that was something she was looking very much forward to it. She knocked on the door gently, and called out for Thor. “Dear Thor, are you there…? May I come in…?”
“Come in, my friend,” Thor said, opening her chamber doors to her companion. She excitedly led her to the bed and handed her the wrapped up package. “For you, Galicia. I saw it and you were the first to come to mind. I hope you truly enjoy it.”

Loki rolled his eyes as the bossy side of his sibling began to shine as bright as the stars in the sky, he’d been waiting for her perfect exterior to crack. With a smirk he turned on his heel and briskly followed after her until he was by her side. “Is there any particular reason why you are dressed in the resemblance of a carpenter?” He gestured towards her tattier than usual dress in a murky brown colour.
“I see you still have your talent for not mincing your words, brother.” She shot him a disapproving glance. “But I have been training and running errands, so this dress was more than fitting.” Taking a deep breath to control her annoyance at his words, she glanced up at him. “I believe I am most confused you that are allowing mother to instruct you to dance with me.”
